Stronghold isn’t your typical fitness program. Most workouts focus on changing how your body looks, whether it be fat loss, muscle gain or a combination of everything. They promise, quick results leading to self-gratification, but we are consistently left wanting more.
Stronghold flips the script: we train with a deeper purpose. It's no longer about the fat loss - it's about being capable for our kids. It's not about the muscle gain - we're looking to build real strength that shows up in every area of our life. And we're not focused on how we look in the mirror - we're using our bodies to glorify God through physical stewardship.
Through four focused sessions per week that take 30 minutes or less, using only dumbbells, kettlebells, and bodyweight, you will develop a foundation of strength that carries over into your family, work, and faith. We don't do gimmicks or fads. We use intentionally-crafted workouts to become a stronghold - for ourselves, our families, and everyone who depends on us.
Join for $25 per month and start building a fitness foundation built on deeper meaning and true purpose.

Most fitness programs focus on changing how our body looks to make us happy. Build strength. Tone muscles. Lose weight. Sculpt your body. All of it gets us to focus on ourselves.
They tell us that when we hit that goal weight, finally, we’ll be satisfied. But it’s a lie we’ve all bought at some point.
When I was younger, my main goal was to build as much muscle as possible. I worked relentlessly toward it - and I made incredible progress.
But what did I actually gain? Injuries. A sore back and knees. And a new view of my body that felt just as “not good enough” as before.
The problem wasn’t the training itself. The problem was the purpose behind it. Why was I building strength? For whom? The truth: for no one except myself. And the result was… nothing.
But what if strength wasn’t meant for us? What if training had a purpose far bigger than our reflection in the mirror?
That’s the philosophy inside Stronghold. We don’t chase fat loss, muscle gain, or how we look in the mirror. We train to serve a greater mission, to show up stronger for God, our families, and the people who depend on us.
If you’re tired of chasing a body that never satisfies, or ready to train with a deeper purpose, Stronghold was built for you.
"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." 1 Corinthians 10:31
Most people struggle to fit fitness into their life. Too busy. Not motivated. No gym access. The list goes on. As a result, we forget about it.
Before I got serious about strength, I played basketball. I loved it, and it kept me in shape for years. But when basketball ended, life continued, and fitness fell to the back burner.
Work, family, hobbies... other things always took priority. A couple years passed before I realized where I had ended up: the most out of shape I had ever been in my life. Everything felt harder. Work drained me. Daily tasks became exhausting. Even things I once did easily now felt impossible.
I could have blamed busyness or lack of motivation. But neither was the real enemy. Those are unavoidable parts of life. The real culprit? Drifting.
I lost sight of what mattered. Something I once loved became unimportant. And slowly, I drifted. The result left me weaker, less capable, and unprepared for life.
As a husband and father, drifting is dangerous. I need to show up strong for my wife and kids. I have a role to play, and I can’t afford to be weak, tired, or distracted.
The truth is: we are at war. War with an enemy who wants us weak, tired, and incapable of handling life. He wants us physically weak so we are unprepared when strength is needed, leading to a disappointing mindset toward our bodies. He wants us mentally weak so when we get home from work at the end of the day, we are completely out of gas and unable to play with our kids. He wants us spiritually weak most of all, so that when we do wake up and look around, we are too far gone to see the way out.
Stronghold is the battle plan. It’s more than workouts or exercises. It’s a deliberate attack against drifting, combined with spiritual tools to keep us sharp in every area of life. The goal isn’t just muscle or fitness. The goal is to be strong for life.
Ready to fight the drift and train with a purpose bigger than yourself?
"We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away." Hebrews 2:1
Becoming a husband and father completely changed what strength means to me.
Younger me measured strength by how much I could lift in the gym. More weight = more strength. Technically true, but incomplete. Real strength goes far beyond the barbell.
Every husband wants to provide for his family. We build our careers, secure stability, and protect our loved ones. Watching my wife care for our kids every day makes me realize that strength comes in many forms - physical, mental, and emotional.
As a trainer, I’ve worked with countless clients and athletes. What impresses me isn’t just their lifts or personal records. It’s their consistency - showing up when it’s hard, putting others first, and keeping commitments even when it’s inconvenient.
Strength in the gym is meant for service to others. Lifting heavy is fun, but showing up consistently for your family and your faith is purposeful. Stronghold trains you to build real strength that shows up in every area of life.
Forget chasing PRs every week. That’s just part of the journey. The real goal is to use your strength for a greater purpose: to honor Jesus and build His kingdom.
Ready to train with purpose?
"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Mark 10:45
If you’re reading this far, you’re beginning to understand the core philosophy inside Stronghold. The secret? Consistency.
Making the choice to show up, even when you don’t want to, don’t have time, motivation fades, or goals change, is difficult. Everyone faces this battle.
For me, no period demanded more discipline than fatherhood. When my kids were little, they demanded everything from us. Sleep. Food. Comfort. Money. Emotional energy. Every part of our flesh was telling us to focus on ourselves, but our spirits were developing strength for something bigger.
Winning this battle requires discipline, forged under pressure and developed over time. We need the strength to show up in all areas of life, even when our flesh says no.
Stronghold is your proving ground. Four days per week, you will face a job that needs to get done. It’s not about extreme effort or long hours - it’s about showing up and completing it. This is training your body and your spirit. Just like reading your Bible or spending time with God, doing it repeatedly builds habits that carry into the real world. If you can consistently show up for your fitness journey, how much easier will it be to show up for your family, your work, and your faith?
Ready to train for more than yourself? Stronghold is ready for you.
“No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.” Hebrews 12:11
God has graciously given us our bodies, and we get to steward them our entire lives. He knit us together in our mother’s womb, fearfully and wonderfully made, designed for a purpose: to fulfill His mission of helping others know and become like Jesus.
In church, it’s common to hear about growing closer to God spiritually or improving mental and emotional health. But how often do we talk about the physical side of our discipleship? Our bodies are a gift, yet too often overlooked - and that neglect can limit our experience on this earth and our relationship with Jesus.
Inside Stronghold, we use fitness to explicitly deepen faith. Our workouts aren’t about losing weight or gaining muscle; they are a way to honor God, strengthen ourselves for service, and get to know Him on a deeper level. When worship is the goal, consistency becomes natural.
If you’re a Christian who wants to integrate fitness into your faith journey, Stronghold was designed for you - to train your body, sharpen your spirit, and serve God with your strength.
“For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.” 1 Timothy 4:8
